What is Grit Kids?

     Starting from the earliest ages, our focus is on good form and lots of movement- while keeping it fun too!

 

     Our structured workouts build on each other, with the goal being well rounded cardio, strength, and obstacle proficiency.

 

     We want to encourage and promote discipline- both physically, in exercise and health, as well as mentally, in confidence and progress. As kids progress through our program they’ll get to work on harder obstacles, be challenged to push just a little harder than they previously thought possible, and improve their speed in running.

 

    Feeding off of the well balanced and proven programming from GRIT, our classes (plus weekend adult classes for older kids!) are designed to strengthen and improve a well rounded fitness base in a fun and consistent way, with weekly challenges, progress assessment competitions every 6 weeks, and the chance to win awards and prizes at their final competition at end of the semester! (Parents welcome!)

     The human body is perhaps the most complex machine in existence. Our muscles require a combination of strength, endurance, and overall grit to function at their best. We provide a fun and safe environment for all age levels. ALL GRIT KIDS workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, and mobility/flexibility application. These are the core movements of life.

 

     This Obstacle training/Ninja style program is created to give your children a fun and creative approach to fitness as they work on strength, conditioning, mobility/flexibility, problem solving, and  coordination. Our goal is to help your child prepare for any physical or mental obstacle that they may face in life, as they overcome obstacles designed for their skill level.

    

     Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) is another key component of the success of GRIT. OCR is the fastest growing sport in the nation currently, recently surpassing MMA. The workouts are programmed in a way that over time, with consistent effort, your kids will be proficient in all areas of OCR including strength, endurance, balance and recovery.
